About me
Growing up in Kansas, my two largest passions were sports and the arts. My family had season tickets to KU basketball, K-State football… and the Topeka Performing Arts Center. Between 7am band rehearsals and weekend musical productions, I played four sports in high school.
After a middling college basketball career, I figured the only way I would see the inside of a professional locker room was with a press pass. In my 10 years in local news, I covered athletes from Little League to the Big Leagues (MLB, NBA, NFL, MLS). While I loved being a part of spectacle events like the Final Four, College Bowl Games, All Star Weekend, MLS Cup and The World Series, I also loved getting to know athletes with big dreams instead of big contracts.
In 2014, after a decade in the sports broadcasting world, I followed my own big dreams and made the jump to Los Angeles (sight unseen) to pursue an acting career. I’ve worked on projects of all sizes and budgets, from tiny black box theatre and improv shows with an audience of Gary (he ran the lights), to massive TV shows on networks and cable channels with 3-letter abbreviations.
I continue to act, while also telling the stories of fellow artists and athletes. Oh, and I still play too many sports for my own good.
